Our Commitment to the Planet
When we learned how many beauty packages are created annually, and how few of those are really recyclable, we knew we had to do something big.
The Packaging Crisis

In June 2020, we introduced our Sustainable Packaging Guidelines (SPG), which require our 130+ brand partners to meet specific standards meant to reduce the use of single-use items, virgin plastic and non-recyclable materials. In the process, we offer our brands best practices from packaging design to end-of-life management, and connect them with preferred packaging suppliers so we can reduce barriers to implementation and spur innovation. We have clear goals that all brands need to meet in order to continue partnering with us.
June 2021 was our first milestone. We eliminate all single-use plastic from Credo. This includes sheet masks (that have been deemed ‘the new plastic straws’ by Vogue), single-use wipes, pads and sample sachets.
